The New York Public Service Commission approved 332 in December 2015, and carriers began assigning the code on June 10 2017. Existing numbers stay exactly the same; only new lines may receive 332.

Dialing Rules
Landlines: Dial 1 + area code + phone number (11 digits total).
Mobile phones: Dial area code + phone number (10 digits) or 1 + area code + number either works.
